Kontribusi Perspektif Waktu Masa Depan dan Lokus Kendali Internal terhadap Kematangan Karier Siswa SMA

Abstract: Career maturity is one aspect of development that must be fulfilled by students in high school, because it is used as a provision in preparing themselves after graduation for further studies or the world of work. This study aims to explain the contribution of future time perspective and internal locus of control to career maturity of high school students. This research was conducted on students at SMA Brawijaya Smart School. The number of samples used was 141 students from class x, xi and xii, with proportionate random sampling method. The measuring instrument used in this research is the Future Time Perspective Scale (CL-FTP), the Internal Locus of Control Scale and the Career Maturity Inventory form C (IMC form C). The analysis technique used is simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the future time perspective contributes positively and significantly to career maturity. Internal locus of control contributes positively and significantly to career maturity. Future time perspective and internal locus of control together contribute to career maturity.
Abstrak: Kematangan karier merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang harus dipenuhi siswa di SMA, karena guna sebagai bekal dalam menyiapkan diri setelah lulus untuk studi lanjut ataupun dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan kontribusi perspektif waktu masa depan dan lokus kendali internal terhadap kematangan karier siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa di SMA Brawijaya Smart School. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 141 siswa dari kelas x, xi dan xii, dengan metode proportionate random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Perspektif Waktu Masa Depan (CL-FTP), Skala Lokus Kendali Internal dan Career Maturity Inventory form C (IMC form C). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa perspektif waktu masa depan berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap kematangan karier. Lokus kendali internal berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap kematangan karier. Perspektif waktu masa depan dan lokus kendali internal secara bersama-sama berkontribusi terhadap kematangan karier.
