PLAGIARISM POLICY
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in the Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism (JITPro). It includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:
a. Citing or quoting terms, words, sentences, data, or information from a source without properly acknowledging the source in the citation and/or reference list.
b. Randomly citing or quoting terms, words, sentences, data, or information from a source without providing appropriate citation or acknowledgment.
c. Using ideas, opinions, perspectives, or theories from a source without adequately crediting the original author.
d. Rewriting words, sentences, ideas, opinions, perspectives, or theories from a source without proper attribution.
e. Submitting a scientific paper that has been authored and/or published by another individual as if it were the author’s original work.
Plagiarism Prevention
To ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts, every article submitted to JITPro must be accompanied by a signed declaration from the author stating that:
a. The article is free from plagiarism.
b. If plagiarism is later discovered in the article, the author agrees to accept the applicable sanctions as per the prevailing regulations.
Sanctions for Plagiarism
Authors found guilty of plagiarism will be subject to the following sanctions:
a. Official reprimand.
b. Issuance of a formal warning letter.
c. Retraction of the published article.
d. Cancellation of the article’s publication.
