Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism (JITPro) undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring impartial evaluation. This means that both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

  1. Initial Evaluation:

    • Submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial board to assess their relevance, originality, and adherence to the journal’s guidelines.
    • Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be returned to the authors without further review.
  2. Peer Review Process:

    • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two independent reviewers for evaluation.
    • If the two reviewers provide conflicting assessments, a third reviewer will be assigned.
    • If an article is reviewed by more than two reviewers, the majority opinion will determine the editorial decision.
    • Reviewers are selected from the scientific board or academic experts affiliated with universities and research institutions.
    • A manuscript can only be accepted for publication if all assigned reviewers provide a positive recommendation.

Submission Requirements

Authors submitting manuscripts to JITPro must ensure compliance with the following conditions:

  • The submitted manuscript must not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration by another journal simultaneously.
  • If the study has been previously presented at a conference, symposium, or other scientific event, the event name, location, and date must be clearly stated.
  • For studies funded by an institution or grant, the name of the sponsoring institution and the project reference number must be provided.
  • If the article is derived from a thesis or dissertation, this information must be disclosed, and the authors are responsible for any misrepresentation.
  • The manuscript must be formatted according to the author guidelines of JITPro.
  • Figures, graphs, and illustrations should adhere to the journal's formatting requirements, and authors can refer to JITPro’s archive for size specifications.
