Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10,5-point font; cambria regular, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  • JITPro accepts articles that explore alternative, critical and re-conceptualized views of teacher education; articles written for academics and educators that present the relationship between theory and practice explicitly which have not been published or are under consideration elsewhere.
  • To be considered for publication, manuscripts should be between 4,000-7,000 words (excluding references and supplementary files), typed in MS Word doc. format, used 10.5-point Cambria, and 1.15-spaced on A4-size paper.
  • All headings are typed in CAPITAL FIRST LETTER, BOLD, LEFT JUSTIFICATION 
  • All articles should contain: (a) Title; (b) Full name of contributor(s) without title(s), institution(s)/affiliation(s), address of institution(s)/affiliation(s), and corresponding author’s email; (c) Abstract (150-200 words); (d) Keywords; (e) Introduction; (f) Method, if any; (g) Findings and Discussion; (h) Conclusions; (i) References; and (j) Appendix, if any.   • The list of references includes only those that are cited/referred to in the article. Please use reference manager applications such as MendeleyEndNote, or Zotero.
  • The references should be presented alphabetically and be written in accordance with the APA 7th style.  
  • Articles will be reviewed by subject reviewers, while the editors reserve the right to edit articles for format consistency without altering the substance.
  • Any legal consequences which may arise because of the use of certain intellectual properties in an article shall be the sole responsibility of the author of the article.
