<p>Manusia tidak jauh dari aktivitas berpikir, karena pikiran merupakan anugerah dari yang maha kuasa. Seiring berjalannya waktu, cara berpikir manusia dari generasi ke generasi semakin maju. Ditambah dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi menjadikan tuntutan tidak langsung kepada manusia untuk dapat menerima dan mengerti berbagai informasi dalam satu waktu. Hal ini menyebabkan menampung terlalu banyak informasi yang dapat menyebabkan kebingungan seperti pikiran berlebihan atau <em>overthink.</em> <em>Overthink </em>adalah istilah lain dari pikiran berlebihan. <em>Overthink </em>dialami oleh semua orang salah satunya mahasiswa DKV dengan pikiran berlebihan dengan konteks dalam DKV. Oleh karena itu perlunya kiat-kiat yang sedikitnya dapat membantu mereka dalam memilah pikiran ketika dihadapkan dengan pikiran berlebihan. Kiat-kiat ini dibungkus dalam bentuk buku ilustrasi yang dirancang menggunakan metode Bruce Archer dengan langkah-langkah <em>Programming</em>, Pengumpulan Data, Analisis dan Sintesis, <em>Development</em>, <em>Communication</em>. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang akan menghasilkan data deskriptif tertulis.</p> <p><strong>Kata</strong><strong> kunci</strong>: buku edukatif; ilustrasi; overthink</p> <p><strong>The Educational Book Based on Illustrations as a Reference for Anticipating Overthinking</strong></p> <p>Humans are not far from the activity of thinking, because the mind is a gift from the Almighty. As time goes by, the way of thinking of humans from generation to generation is getting more advanced. Coupled with the development of information technology makes indirect demands on humans to be able to receive and understand various information at one time. This leads to holding too much information which can lead to confusion such as overthinking or overthinking. Overthink is another term for overthinking. Overthink is experienced by everyone, one of them is the Visual Communication Design student with excessive thoughts in the context of Visual Communication Design. Therefore, the need for tips that can at least help them in sorting out their thoughts when faced with excessive thoughts. These tips are packaged in the form of an illustrated book designed using the Bruce Archer method with the steps of Programming, Data Collection, Analysis and Synthesis, Development, Communication. <p>Pembelajaran seni dan budaya musik di SMPN 3 Singosari juga mengacu pada teori bahwa Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal tidak dapat dipenuhi dengan nilai optimal 78. Saat ini baru sekitar 85 persen pembelajaran yang seharusnya berada pada kisaran 90-100 persen. Peran guru dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang tepat, salah satunya ialah model pembelajaran kontekstual dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu penelitian disini bermaksud agar mengetahui dan melaporkan pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual pada hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII mata pelajaran seni budaya (musik) di SMP Negeri 3 Singosari. Metodenyang dipakai dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif memakai desain eksperimen. Sampel ditentukan dengan memanfaatkan teknik nonprofit sampling dan objektif sampling sehingga peneliti mengambil siswa dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII H sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dari nilai post-test terbaik dan terbanyak. Berdasarkan rerata terbaik dan postes kelas eksperimen dan kontrol serta hasil uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas dan uji sampel independen, model pembelajaran kontekstual diketahui berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi seni budaya (musik) untuk siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Singosari.</p> <p><strong>Kata</strong><strong> kunci</strong>: model pembelajaran kontekstual; hasil belajar</p> <p><strong>The Effect of Contextual Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Music Class for Eighth Grade Junior High School Students</strong></p> <p>Learning arts and culture and music at State Junior High School 3 Singosari also refers to the theory that the Minimum Completeness Criteria cannot be met with an optimal score of 78. Currently, only about 85 percent of learning should be in the 90-100 percent range. The teacher's role in determining the right learning model, one of which is the contextual learning model in learning. Therefore, this research aims to find out and report on the effect of the contextual learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students on Monday's cultural (music) lessons at State Junior High School 3 Singosari. The method used in this research is quantitative research using experimental design. The sample was determined by using non-profit sampling and objective sampling techniques so that the researchers took students from the two classes, namely class VIII G as the experimental class and class VIII H as the control class. Data were collected from the best and most post-test scores. Based on the best average and posttest experimental and control classes as well as the results of the normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test and independent sample test, the contextual learning model is known to have an effect on student learning outcomes in cultural arts (music) materials for students in class VIII at State Junior High School 3 Singosari.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong><strong>: </strong>contextual learning model; learning outcomes</p>Lilik Widhya NingrumE.W. <p>Pembelajaran di SLB Autis banyak memanfaatkan metode visual, sehingga menggambar menjadi salah satu metode pembelajaran yang paling efektif dilakukan untuk mengasosiasikan apa yang akan disampaikan oleh para pengajar dengan mudah untuk mendukung pemahaman siswa ketika belajar. Kegiatan melukis/menggambar merupakan kegiatan yang dapat membantu dalam mengembangkan motorik dan melatih kepekaan diri siswa Autis. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecenderungan tipe gambar dan karakteristik warna pada lukisan siswa SMP SLB Autis Laboratorium UM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui dokumentasi dan observasi hasil karya lukis siswa SLB Autis Laboratorium UM Sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan tipe gambar yang sering muncul adalah visual <em>lyrical</em> dan <em>structure form</em>, sedangkan kecenderungan karakteristik warna yang sering muncul adalah warna bersifat dingin.</p> <p><strong>Kata</strong> <strong>K</strong><strong>unci</strong>: tipe visual, karakteristik warna, lukisan, SLB Autis</p> <p><strong>Trends</strong><strong> in Image Types and Color Characteristics in Paintings by SLB Autis Laboratorium UM Students </strong></p> <p>Learning in SLB autistic uses a lot of visual methods, so drawing is one of the most effective learning methods to easily associate what the teachers will convey to support students' understanding when learning. Painting / drawing activities are activities that can help develop motor skills and train the sensitivity of autistic students. The aim of this study was to describe the tendency of image types and color characteristics in the paintings of UM Laboratory Autistic Junior High School students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were used through documentation and observation of the works of SLB Autistic UM Laboratory students. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik teks cerita pendek kelas IX MTs Negeri 4 Jembrana di era COVID-19. Pendeskripsian pembelajaran meliputi tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian pembelajaran dan problematika pemblejaran menulis teks cerita pendek di era COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis terdiri dari tahap pratulis, penulisan, dan pascatulis. Tahapan pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dengan pola mengamati-menanya-mencoba-mengomunikasikan. Pada kegiatan penilaian dengan menilai sikap peserta didik selama kegiatan pembelajaran dan penilaian keterampilan dari hasil tulisan cerita pendek peserta didik. Pendeskripsian karakteristik teks cerita pendek terdiri dari tema, struktur (abstrak, orientasi, komplikasi, dan resolusi), dan kaidah kebahasaan (sudut pandang pengarang, konjungsi kronologi, dan penggunaan dialog). Problematika yang dihadapi pada pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek di era pandemi dialami oleh pendidik dan peserta didik berupa problematika pada tahapan pembelajaran dan penilaian pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek di era COVID-19.</p> <p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>pembelajaran menulis, pembelajaran daring, karakterisik teks cerita pendek</p> <p><strong>Teaching Writing Short Story Texts for Class IX of State Islamic Junior High School</strong></p> <p>This study aims to describe the learning of writing and the characteristics description of short story texts for class IX MTs Negeri 4 Jembrana in the COVID-19. The description of the learning includes the stages of implementing learning, learning assessment, and learning problems in writing short story texts in the COVID-19. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive type of research. Results of this study show that the implementation stages of learning to write short story texts comprise preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The learning implementation of writing comprises the pre-writing, writing, and post-writing stages. The stages of learning to write short story texts use a scientific approach with a pattern of observing-questioning-trying-communicating. In the assessment activities, assessing the attitudes of students during learning activities and assessing skills from the results of writing short stories of students. The description of the characteristics of the short story text comprises the theme, structure (abstract, orientation, complication, and resolution), and linguistic rules (author’s point of view, chronological conjunctions, and use of dialogue). <p>Aplikasi WhatsApp mulanya dirancang sebagai media komunikasi dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi media pembelajaran karena fiturnya mampu menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat menggunakan WhatsApp pada siswa MTs adalah tidak adanya komunikasi yang membangun secara langsung dengan emosional dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan, kesulitan yang dihadapi, dan upaya yang ditempuh dalam penggunaan aplikasi WhatsApp pada siswa MTs dan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di MTs Darul Hikmah Tawangsari Tulungagung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap empat orang siswa dan guru bahasa Arab. Analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Hubberman dengan empat tahapan kemudian data yang diperoleh diolah hingga data teruji secara empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan WhatsApp dapat menciptakan sarana interaksi guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien, kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dan siswa melalui aplikasi WhatsApp yaitu faktor guru yang belum terbiasa serta gangguan layanan internet, meningkatnya kualitas dan kemampuan diri termasuk beradaptasi dengan pola-pola komunikasi yang baru dengan pemanfaatan teknologi digital sehingga penggunaan media pembelajaran WhatsApp dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan kebutuhan.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: daring, pendidikan bahasa Arab, siswa, WhatsApp.</p> <p><strong>Arabic Language Learning through WhatsApp Media</strong></p> <p>The WhatsApp application, originally designed as a communication medium, can be utilized as a learning medium because its features can support online learning activities. However, the problem that arises when using WhatsApp for MTs students is the lack of direct and emotional communication with the teacher. This research aims to describe the utilization, difficulties faced, and efforts made in using the WhatsApp application for MTs students and teachers. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, conducted at MTs Darul Hikmah Tawangsari Tulungagung. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation of four Arabic language students and teachers. Data analysis uses Miles and Hubberman's theory with four stages, and the data obtained is processed until it is empirically tested. The results show that the use of WhatsApp can create a more effective and efficient means of interaction between teachers and students in teaching and learning activities. The difficulties faced by teachers and students through the WhatsApp application are the teacher's unfamiliarity with the application and internet service disruptions. However, the use of WhatsApp for learning can increase the quality and self-ability, including adapting to new communication patterns using digital technology, so that the use of WhatsApp as a learning medium can be implemented according to needs.</p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: online, Arabic language education, students, WhatsApp.</p>Faza Itsnani HidayatImam Asrori
