Abstract: Mobility and stability training plays an important role in improving the biomotor components of gymnast athletes, because it is able to develop strength, flexibility, balance, agility, and endurance in a targeted manner so as to support optimal performance while reducing the risk of injury. This study aims to analyze the effect of mobility and stability training on improving the dominant biomotor components in students of the Sports Science Study Program, Makassar State University. The study used an experimental method with a pre test and post test control group design involving 30 students, consisting of an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group participated in a six-week mobility and stability training program, while the control group received no special treatment. Data were collected through measurements of strength, agility, balance, flexibility, and endurance, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using paired t tests. The results showed a significant increase in all biomotor components in the experimental group compared to the control group, especially in the aspects of core muscle strength, flexibility, and balance. The conclusion of this study confirms that mobility and stability training is effective in improving physical performance, fitness, and reducing the risk of injury, so it can be used as a basis for designing more targeted training programs for gymnastics athletes.
