Studi Perbandingan Pembelajaran Digital Dan Metode Konvensional Terhadap Peningkatan Keterampilan Loncat Harimau Pada Mahasiswa

Abstract: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of digital learning and conventional methods on improving tiger jump skills in students of the Sport Science Study Program, Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Makassar State University. This study uses a quantitative approach with a two-group experimental design, namely the digital learning group and the conventional learning group. Data collection techniques were carried out through tiger jump skill tests before and after treatment, as well as documentation of learning activities. Data analysis used an independent sample t test after the data met the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. The results of the study showed that digital learning was more effective than conventional methods in improving tiger jump skills. The digital learning group achieved an average increase of 18.2 points or 26.3 percent, while the conventional group only increased by 9.4 points or 13.7 percent. The t-test showed a p value equal to 0.000 (less than 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two methods. Digital learning was considered more effective because it provided visual feedback, opportunities for independent practice, and the ability to correct movements directly. Thus, the application of digital learning can be an innovative alternative in physical education to improve motor skills and the effectiveness of the floor gymnastics learning process.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas pembelajaran digital dan metode konvensional terhadap peningkatan keterampilan lompat harimau pada mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Keolahragaan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok pembelajaran digital dan kelompok pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes keterampilan lompat harimau sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan uji t sampel independen setelah data memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran digital lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan lompat harimau. Kelompok pembelajaran digital memperoleh peningkatan rata rata sebesar 18,2 poin atau 26,3 persen, sedangkan kelompok konvensional hanya meningkat 9,4 poin atau 13,7 persen. Uji t menunjukkan nilai p sama dengan 0,000 (kurang dari 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua metode. Pembelajaran digital dinilai lebih efektif karena memberikan umpan balik visual, kesempatan latihan mandiri, dan kemampuan koreksi gerak secara langsung. Dengan demikian, penerapan pembelajaran digital dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pendidikan jasmani untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran senam lantai.
