Peran Literasi Fisik dalam Partisipasi Aktivitas Fisik pada Siswa Kelas XII SMA Negeri 2 Kediri

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low level of physical activity among 12th grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Kediri, which has resulted in a monotonous, passive, and unengaging classroom atmosphere. The objectives of this research were to determine (1) the level of physical literacy among 12th-grade students, (2) their level of participation in physical activities, and (3) the relationship between physical literacy and participation in physical activities. This study employed a correlational approach with 12th grade students as the subjects and utilized the Standardized Physical Literacy Questionnaire (SPPL) and the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) as instruments. The results indicated that both the physical literacy level and physical activity participation were in the moderate category. However, no significant relationship was found between physical literacy and participation in physical activities. These findings suggest that factors other than physical literacy may play a more dominant role in influencing student participation.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas fisik siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 2 Kediri yang berdampak pada suasana kelas yang monoton, pasif, dan membosankan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) tingkat literasi fisik siswa kelas XII, (2) tingkat partisipasi dalam aktivitas fisik, dan (3) hubungan antara literasi fisik dengan partisipasi aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional dengan subjek siswa kelas XII dan instrumen berupa kuesioner literasi fisik (SPPL) serta aktivitas fisik (GPAQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi fisik dan partisipasi aktivitas fisik siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi fisik dengan partisipasi dalam aktivitas fisik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor selain literasi fisik dapat lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi partisipasi siswa.
