Abstract

Abstract: Caring is important in nursing where caring is the basis, but it is a problem that often occurs in the field, research has found that recurring problems in hospitals are the lack of caring and communication between nurses and patients and the little time nurses spend with patients. The community satisfaction index of Hospital X in Tarakan City in 2022 was 84.60 percent where the standard for customer or patient satisfaction according to the Ministry of Health 2008 was 90 percent. From these data, it can be seen that there is still a need to improve patient customer satisfaction where one of the things that influences customer or patient satisfaction lies in nurses who spend the most time with patients. The method used is a descriptive survey where the population is patients visiting the Emergency Installation with a sample of 283. The results of the study showed that the caring behavior of nurses based on patient assessments in the Emergency Installation was mostly good, it is hoped that hospitals can maintain and improve caring, and can conduct training related to caring so that nurses can be more optimal in providing services.

Abstrak: Caring menjadi hal yang penting dalam keperawatan dimana caring adalah dasarnya, namun merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi di lapangan, penelitian menemukan bahwa masalah yang berulang di Rumah Sakit adalah bahwa kurangnya caring dan komunikasi perawat terhadap pasien dan sedikitnya waktu yang dihabiskan perawat dengan pasien. Indeks kepuasan masarakat Rumah Sakit X di Kota Tarakan tahun 2022 84,60  persen dimana standarnya kepuasan pelanggan atau pasien menurut Kemenkes 2008 yaitu 90 persen. Dari data tersebut dapat terlihat bahwa masih perlunya peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan pasien dimana salah satu yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan atau pasien terletak pada perawat yang menghabiskan waktu paling banyak bersama pasien. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan survey deskriptif dimana populasinya pasien yang berkunjung ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat dengan sample sebanyak 283. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa perilaku caring perawat berdasarkan penailain pasien di Instalasi Gawat Darurat sebagian besar adalah baik diharapkan rumah sakit bisa mempertahankan serta meningkatkan terkait caring, dan bisa melakukan pelatihan terkait caring agar perawat bisa lebih maksimal dalam memberikan pelayanan.
