Pengaruh Program Latihan Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) Terhadap Kecepatan dan Kelincahan pada Atlet UKM Bulutangkis Universitas Negeri Malang

Abstract: Efforts to improve achievement in the sport occupied by an athlete are important. Factors that need to be considered in achieving sports achievement is paying attention to physical condition. Badminton is a sport with multi-direction movements. Players must be fast and agile in moving to reach the shuttlecock. This study uses speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ) exercises to train speed and agility. The aim is to determine the effect of SAQ training on increasing the speed and agility of UKM badminton athletes at the State University of Malang. The experimental method used the Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample is 10 people. The training lasts for 4 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. Data analysis using the SPSS 26 application for windows. The results showed that there was a significant effect of SAQ training on the speed and agility of athletes. The results of the paired sample t-test on each variable data from the pre-test post-test results, yield a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Explain that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or the hypothesis says that there is an effect of SAQ training on the speed and agility of UKM State University Malang athletes.
Abstrak: Upaya meningkatkan prestasi pada cabang olahraga yang ditekuni oleh seorang atlet merupakan hal penting. Faktor yang perlu di perhatikan dalam mencapai prestasi olahraga adalah memerhatikan kondisi fisik. Bulutangkis merupakan olahraga dengan pergerakan multi-direction, Pemain harus cepat dan lincah dalam bergerak untuk menjangkau shuttlecock. Penelitian ini menggunakan latihan speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ) untuk melatih kecepatan dan kelincahan. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh latihan SAQ terhadap peningkatkan kecepatan dan kelincahan para Atlet UKM bulutangkis Universitas Negeri Malang. Metode eksperimen menggunakan desain Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel berjumlah 10 orang. Latihan berlangsung selama 4 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali dalam seminggu. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari latihan SAQ terhadap kecepatan dan kelincahan atlet. Hasil uji paired sample t-test pada masing-masing variabel data hasil pre-test post-test, menghasilkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Menerangkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima atau hipotesis yang mengatakan bahwa ada pengaruh latihan SAQ terhadap kecepatan dan kelincahan atlet UKM Universitas Negeri Malang.
