Abstract

Abstract: Gross motor skills are a very important aspect in the growth process of preschool age children because gross motor skills will have an impact on children's development in the future. This study aims to determine the gross motor skills of preschool-aged children in TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare, Malang Regency. This research is a non-experimental research that uses a survey approach method with a quantitative descriptive research design. The research instrument used to identify the level of gross motor skills of children is the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). The final result of this study showed that the gross motor skills of preschool children in TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare Malang Regency showed an average gross motor score of 110.84 with an average category. The conclusion of this study is that in general the gross motor skills of preschool-aged children in TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare Malang are included in the average category in terms of two measuring indicators, namely locomotor motion and manipulative motion, so that it can be said that gross motor skills are still in progress. developmental stage.

Abstrak: Keterampilan motorik kasar merupakan sebuah aspek yang sangat penting dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak usia prasekolah karena keterampilan motorik kasar akan berdampak pada perkembangan anak di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan motorik kasar anak usia prasekolah di TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pendekatan survei dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat keterampilan motorik kasar anak adalah Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan motorik kasar anak prasekolah di TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare Kabupaten Malang menunjukkan nilai rerata skor motorik kasar 110.84 dengan kategori rata-rata. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah secara umum keterampilan motorik kasar anak usia prasekolah di TK Muslimat NU Dewi Masithoh 01 Kalipare Malang termasuk ke dalam kategori rata-rata yang ditinjau dari dua indikator ukur yaitu gerak lokomotor dan gerak manipulatif, sehingga dapat dikatakan keterampilan motorik kasar masih dalam tahap perkembangan.
