Abstrak

Education in the future is demanded to rapidly evolve in response to technological advancements and changing societal demands for ever-evolving needs in the future. This article presents a comprehensive overview of the trends and developments that will shape the future of education, including personalized learning, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. Drawing on various academic sources, this article explores the potential benefits and challenges of these new technologies, and their implications for teaching and learning. Apart from academic and technological developments, in the future, social aspects such as the importance of fostering social-emotional skills, such as empathy and resilience, in addition to cognitive skills, to prepare students to face complex future challenges for life in society 5.0 that prioritizes human life. Finally, this article highlights the importance of good education in promoting ethical and responsible use of technology, and the importance of addressing issues of equality and access in a rapidly changing world to accelerate human progress towards the era of society 5.0.

Pendidikan di masa depan dituntut untuk berkembang pesat dalam menanggapi kemajuan teknologi dan perubahan tuntutan masyarakat terhadap kebutuhan yang akan selalu berkembang di masa yang akan mendatang. Artikel ini menyajikan garis besar komprehensif tentang tren dan perkembangan yang akan membentuk masa depan pendidikan, termasuk pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi, kecerdasan buatan, dan realitas virtual. Beralaskan  pada berbagai sumber akademik, artikel ini mengeksplorasi potensi manfaat dan tantangan dari teknologi baru ini, dan implikasinya terhadap pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Selain dari sudut pandang akademik dan perkembangan teknologi, dimasa depan aspek sosial seperti pentingnya membina keterampilan sosial-emosional, seperti empati dan ketahanan, selain keterampilan kognitif, untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan masa depan yang kompleks untuk mempersiapkan kehidupan bermasyarakat di society 5.0 yang mengedepankan kehidupan manusia. Terakhir, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya pengaruh pendidikan yang baik untuk mempromosikan penggunaan teknologi yang etis dan bertanggung jawab, dan pentingnya mengatasi masalah kesetaraan dan akses di dunia yang berubah dengan cepat untuk mengakselerasi kemajuan manusia mencapai era society 5.0.
