Abstrak

Bullying has been a long-standing issue and still exists to this day. With the advancement of technology, we are also entering the era of Society 5.0 where technology has become a part of human life. However, with the increasing advancements in technology, the cases of bullying are also increasing. In this paper, a study was conducted with the goal of finding out the impact of bullying on the mental well-being of teenagers. Based on a study conducted by the National Sports and Health Survey Agency, it was found that about 20-33 percent of teenagers admit that they have experienced bullying. The research method that will be used is secondary research or by analyzing data that is already available with a descriptive statistical analysis process. The results show that bullying tends to make teenagers become depressed and has a very significant negative impact on their mental well-being. Therefore, there needs to be intervention and preventive efforts from all parties, including teachers, students, and parents, so that these children can live their days without fear.
