Physiological factors do not solely cause the risk of diabetes, psychological factors also play a significant role. Anxiety and stress in diabetes sufferers result in a higher risk of disease. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop a SEJIWA program module that emphasizes the practice of mindfulness, gratitude, humour, optimism, spirituality, and emotional release in diabetes sufferers in the Gadingkasri area. The SEJIWA program module development method used the ADDIE model. The results of the Aiken V analysis and the program module comprehension test indicated that the SEJIWA program module could be used without revision. The SEJIWA program trial was conducted using a pre-experimental method on 68 diabetes sufferers. The instrument used was the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 21. The effectiveness test analysis was conducted using Paired Samples T-Test statistics. The analysis results showed that the post-test mean was significantly lower than the pre-test. This indicates that the implementation of the SEJIWA program can significantly reduce anxiety levels in diabetes sufferers.
