Analisis Motif Persuasi Affiliator dalam Menunjang Pemasaran Platform Binary Option

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the use of motives or persuasion techniques on affiliates with a psychological approach to binary option investment fraud cases. The literacy of the Indonesian financial community is still considered very low, so they tend to be deceived by fast investments that generate large profits. This study uses the literature review method, by collecting various references such as books, journals, websites, social media, etc. with credible sources as supporting theoretical foundations. The real result of this research is that there is a motive for persuasion by binary option affiliates in marketing their platform. They were successful in their own way, such as increasing their wealth and opening binary option trading course courses, until the lure of big profits. Binary option are not an official investment instrument, because there are no real assets being traded. This is also in line with the lack of clarity in the form of an official written permission from the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) which made binary options themselves declared illegal.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis terkait penggunaan motif atau teknik persuasi pada affiliator dengan pendekatan psikologi kasus penipuan investasi binary option. Literasi keuangan masyarakat Indonesia dinilai masih sangat rendah, sehingga mereka bertendensi untuk tertipu dengan investasi cepat yang menghasilkan keuntungan besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review (kajian literatur), dengan mengumpulkan berbagai rujukan seperti buku, jurnal, situs web, media sosial, dll dengan sumber-sumber yang kredibel sebagai pendukung landasan teori. Hasil nyata dari penelitian ini adalah adanya motif persuasi oleh affiliator binary option dalam memasarkan platform mereka. Mereka sukses dengan cara mereka seperti flexing memamerkan harta kekayaan, pembukaan kelas-kelas kursus trading binary option, hingga iming-iming mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar. Binary option bukanlah salah satu instrumen investasi resmi, dikarenakan tidak terdapat aset nyata yang diperjualbelikan. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan tidak adanya kejelasan berupa izin resmi tertulis pada Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti) yang membuat binary option sendiri dinyatakan ilegal.
