About the Journal

Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism (JITPro) is a peer-reviewed journal which is published three times a year (April, August, December) in Indonesian or English under the responsibility of the editorial board. 
The JITPro is fundamentally concerned with the improvement of teacher education, curriculum, policy, and in-service training. Besides these, the journal also accepts researches related to the problems of teacher educators and researchers in the field of educational sciences. The JITPro particularly welcomes: articles that explore alternative, critical and re-conceptualized views of teacher education; articles written for academics and educators that present the relationship between theory and practice explicitly. The Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism - does not charge any processing or publication fees to articles sent. Moreover, no payments are made to an author or authors for articles accepted for publication.

Editorial Announcement

The Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism (JITPro) proudly announces its achievement of SINTA 4 accreditation under the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026. The accreditation covers Volume 1 No. 2 (2023) through Volume 6 No. 1 (2028).

Starting Tuesday, May 12, 2026, JITPro will officially operate through its new website and join the Digital Commons Elsevier platform at https://citeus.um.ac.id/jitpro.

To support the sustainability and quality of publication services, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 will be applied for accepted manuscripts.
