Focus and Scope

Journal Inovasi Teknologi dan Edukasi Teknik (JITET) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Universitas Negeri Malang that publishes research articles monthly (12 issues per year), with the online ISSN 2797-7196. The journal serves as a platform for publishing scholarly work in engineering and technical education that is both theoretical and practical, advancing knowledge and technology locally and internationally.

The Focus and Scope of the journal include the following areas:

Civil Engineering – covering studies and innovations related to the design, construction, maintenance, and management of infrastructure and buildings, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resources, transportation, and sustainable construction.

Industrial Technology – focusing on industrial processes, production efficiency, manufacturing systems optimization, lean management, industrial automation, and the integration of digital technologies to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

Mechanical Engineering – including research on mechanical design, machine dynamics, thermodynamics, energy systems, manufacturing processes, and practical technological innovations in machinery across various industries.

Electrical Engineering – encompasses topics in electrical systems, electronics, control systems, power systems, sensors and actuators, and the application of electrical technology in automation and telecommunications.

Vocational Education – emphasizing the development of effective teaching strategies, curriculum design, and learning practices in vocational and technical education, including the integration of technology in teaching and enhancing students’ competencies for the workforce.
