Pengambilan keputusan yang tepat, akurat, dan efisien guna menyelesaikan suatu masalah adalah ekspektasi dari semua pihak. Oleh sebab itu, artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan algoritma Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) agar dapat memberi bantuan dalam pengambilan keputusan dan membuat alternatif sebagai penyelesaian masalah. Metode MCDM digunakan untuk penerapan dalam penyederhanaan masalah menjadi tiga, diantaranya tujuan, kriteria, dan alternatif yang bisa memberikan solusi dari kriteria yang digunakan untuk menentukan keputusan. Salah satu hasil pendekatan metode MCDM, yaitu metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Dengan mengurangi keputusan kompleks untuk serangkaian pembandingan yang berhubungan, dan selanjutnya mensintesis hasilnya, AHP membantu menangkap aspek keputusan yang bersifat berpihak dan yang tidak memihak. Selain metode AHP, terdapat juga beberapa metode lain yang dapat dijadikan pembanding atau alternatif, yaitu metode Fuzzy, PROMETHEE, serta TOPSIS
