Abstract

A idea known as "Society 5.0" envisions a society reliant on information and technology to address a range of social issues and enhance people's quality of life. Technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) is regarded as being essential to achieving the objectives of Society 5.0. The purpose of this study is to examine how AI can be used to realize Society 5.0 by being implemented in a variety of fields, including business, healthcare, and education, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of doing so. Data is gathered and analyzed using the descriptive technique from a variety of sources, including books, journals, and reports. Lack of general understanding of AI technology, reliance on AI technology, and potential job losses due to automation are all barriers to implementing AI technology in Society 5.0. The advantages of utilizing AI technology in achieving Society 5.0 include better human quality of life, greater efficiency and productivity, and solutions to social and environmental issues. The findings of this study cover the significance of AI technology in achieving Society 5.0 as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using it. This study has effects on society and the direction of future studies.
