Abstract

Abstract: The school counselor is in charge of carrying out guidance and counseling services in schools. When providing guidance and counseling services, guidance and counseling teachers can provide social influence. This article aims to describe the understanding of professional guidance and counseling teachers about social influence, sources of social influence, and ways of expressing social influence. The results of qualitative research using this phenomenological method indicate that professional guidance and counseling teachers can identify the sources and ways of expressing their social influence. The sources and ways of expressing social influence are divided into three dimensions, namely: attractiveness, trustworthiness, and competence.

Abstrak: Guru bimbingan dan konseling atau Konselor sekolah atau merupakan sosok yang bertugas melaksanakan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Ketika melaksanakan layanan bimbingan dan konseling, guru bimbingan konseling dapat memberikan pengaruh sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan deskripsi pemahaman guru bimbingan dan konseling profesional tentang pengaruh sosial, sumber pengaruh sosial, dan cara mengekspresikan pengaruh sosial. Hasil penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode fenomenologi ini menunjukkan bahwa guru bimbingan dan konseling profesional mampu mengenali sumber dan cara mengekspresikan pengaruh sosial mereka. Sumber dan cara mengekspresikan pengaruh sosial tersebut terbagi menjadi tiga dimensi, yaitu: ketermenarikan, keterpercayaan, dan kecakapan.
