Abstract

Abstract: The effect of the drill method and the playing method on the ability of service under the volleyball game of Gandu in class VIII students at SMP Kartika IV-9 Malang. The purpose of this study was to describe the difference in the effect of the drill learning method and the playing method on the service ability under level II volleyball game. The type of research used in this study is an experimental method with a Two Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data analysis used one way analysis technique (one way ANOVA) with a significant level α equal 0.05. The results showed that the Drill method was more influential on the service skills of Gandu volleyball level II for students than the Play method with an average posttest score for the Drill learning method of 6.13 and an average posttest score for the Playing learning method of 5.13.

Abstrak: Pengaruh metode drill dan metode bermain terhadap kemampuan service bawah permainan bolavoli gandu pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Kartika IV-9 Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perbedaan pengaruh metode pembelajaran drill dan metode bermain terhadap kemampuan service bawah permainan bolavoli gandu level II. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimental dengan rancangan Two Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis variasi satu jalur (one way anova) dengan taraf signifikan α sama dengan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Drill lebih berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan service bawah bolavoli gandu level II pada peserta didik dari pada metode Bermain dengan rata-rata skor posttest metode pembelajaran Drill sebesar 6,13 dan  rata- rata posttest metode pembelajaran Bermain sebesar 5,13.
