Sintesis Senyawa Kompleks Chloropentaamminecobalt(III) Chloride

Senyawa Chloropentaamminecobalt(III) chloride disintesis dengan metode one-pot solution menggunakan reagen CoCl2ᐧ6H2O, NH3, dan HCl. menghasilkan kristal berwarna ungu-kemerahan seberat 1,08 gram. Kristal kemudian dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD-Powder, FTIR, spektrofotometer UV-Visible, uji konduktivitas listrik, dan uji kualitatif ion klorida. Berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi didapatkan struktur kristal ortorombik, kristal memiliki gugus NH3, memiliki nilai konduktivitas ekivalen sekitar 253-254 cm-1ohm-1mol-1 yang menunjukkan jumlah ion Cl- yang dapat bergerak (mobile) dan membawa arus jika dibandingkan dengan ion amonia serta memiliki serapan pada panjang gelombang maksimum pada 530 nm.
