Keywords:
Volatilitas, Harga Saham, Ekonomi MakroAbstract
This study analyzes stock price volatility across four major sectors in Indonesia: non-banking (GOTO), banking (BRIS), tobacco (GGRM), and pharmaceuticals (SIDO), during the period from January 2023 to January 2024. Employing a quantitative approach, volatility is measured using standard deviation to identify fluctuations and associated risks. Findings reveal that the technology sector (GOTO) exhibited the highest volatility, driven by market sentiment and regulatory dynamics, followed by tobacco (GGRM) due to regulatory risks. Banking (BRIS) showed moderate volatility influenced by monetary policy, while the pharmaceutical sector (SIDO) demonstrated the most stability, attributed to consistent demand for health products. These insights offer practical implications for portfolio diversification and strategic decision-making for investors and policymakers navigating Indonesia's stock market amidst macroeconomic challenges.
