Peran LAZISNU dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi mustahik melalui zakat

Abstract

Zakat is one of the instruments in Islam that can be used to help the community's economy. Zakat itself is managed by amil zakat institutions, one of which is LAZISNU. LAZISNU is a non-profit organization belonging to the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) association which aims to help the welfare of the people. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of LAZISNU in Blitar City in helping the community's economy through zakat. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive analysis method. The aspects studied are the mechanism for collecting and distributing zakat funds, the role of zakat on community welfare, the obstacles faced by LAZISNU in Blitar City, and the efforts made by LAZISNU in Blitar City in overcoming the obstacles faced. Efforts made by LAZISNU in Blitar City in overcoming obstacles, namely, holding a Ramadhan safari by providing socialization in the branches and assistance to mosque marbots, conducting socialization at the taqlim assembly, and LAZISNU in Blitar City will also revive branches at the village and sub-district levels throughout the Blitar City so that socialization can be fast and thorough. The results of the study indicate that the existence of LAZISNU in Blitar City has a positive influence in helping the community's economy through zakat funds. LAZISNU Blitar City provides zakat assistance to mustahik in the form of money and necessities so that they can help meet their basic daily needs. With this, LAZISNU Blitar City plays a role in helping the community's economy through zakat funds.

Zakat merupakan salah satu instrumen dalam Islam yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu perekonomian masyarakat. Zakat sendiri dikelola oleh lembaga amil zakat, salah satunya adalah LAZISNU. LAZISNU sendiri adalah lembaga nirlaba milik perkumpulan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) yang bertujuan untuk membantu kesejahteraan umat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran LAZISNU Kota Blitar dalam membantu perekonomian masyarakat melalui zakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Aspek yang diteliti adalah mekanisme pengumpulan dan penyaluran dana zakat, peranan zakat terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat, kendala yang dihadapi LAZISNU Kota Blitar, serta upaya yang dilakukan LAZISNU Kota Blitar dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi. Upaya yang dilakukan LAZISNU Kota Blitar dalam mengatasi kendala yaitu, mengadakan safari ramadhan dengan memberikan sosialisasi di ranting- ranting dan bantuan ke marbot masjid, melakukan sosialisasi di majelis taqlim, serta LAZISNU Kota Blitar juga akan menghidupkan ranting-ranting di tingkat kelurahan dan kecamatan seluruh Kota Blitar agar sosialisasi bisa cepat dan menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keberadaan LAZISNU Kota Blitar membantu perekonomian masyarakat melalui dana zakat. LAZISNU Kota Blitar memberikan bantuan zakat kepada mustahik berupa uang dan sembako agar dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan pokoknya sehari-hari. Dengan hal ini LAZISNU Kota Blitar berperan terhadap membantu perekonomian masyarakat melalui dana zakat.
