ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF DALAM PENERAPAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING MELALUI PENDEKATAN TEACHING THE RIGHT LEVEL (TARL) PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS 8 SMP

This study examines the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach within Project Based Learning (PjBL) in science classes at SMP Negeri 1 Malang for eighth graders, focusing on its impact on learning styles and student learning outcomes. The background of this study is based on differences in abilities and learning styles of students that require a more individualized learning approach. The research used a qualitative descriptive analysis method to observe and document the learning processes and outcomes. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that the implementation of TaRL within PjBL helps students better understand the material and increases their motivation to learn. Students showed significant improvements in concept understanding and active participation in learning. This research recommends the wider application of the TaRL approach in the curriculum for subjects that require deep conceptual understanding.
