It is characterized by aggressive behavior, often in the form of repeated and intentional oppression by an individual or group using their power to harm those perceived as weaker. This phenomenon has detrimental consequences for victims, both physically and psychologically. Most bullying victims experience more psychological effects, such as anxiety, decreased self-esteem, and impaired interpersonal relationships. Therefore, this study explores the characteristics of bullying behaviors and their impact on victims. The qualitative research method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews for data collection. Subjects in this study were 2 people. The findings reveal that the bullying experiences of the participants originated during their school years and were perpetrated by their peers. These experiences hurt both participants, causing physical and psychological harm, leading to decreased self-esteem and difficulties or lingering fear in establishing social relationships, particularly friendships.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br />Fenomena perundungan/bullying sering sekali terjadi dikalangan remaja dan masyarakat. Perilaku perundungan sendiri merupakan tindakan agresif, atau dikenal dengan bentuk penindasan yang dilakukan berulang dan sengaja oleh seseorang maupun sekelompok orang dengan menggunakan kekuasan mereka untuk menyakiti orang yang lemah. Adanya fenomena perundungan ini, akan memberikan dampak negatif terhadap korban baik itu dampak fisik maupun dampak secara psikologis. Kebanyakan dari korban bullying mengalami dampak psikologis lebih banyak seperti kecemasan, kepercayaan diri yang menurun, serta berpengaruh pada hubungan interpersonalnya dengan orang lain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku perundungan dan dampaknya terhadap korban perundungan. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua orang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengalaman perundungan dialami oleh korban sejak sekolah dan itu dilakukan oleh teman sebayanya. This can significantly impact their development, especially during their golden age when they are highly receptive to stimuli that can influence their growth. This research explores the impact of screen media usage on language and cognitive development in early childhood. The approach involves a literature review of reputable journals in the field. The findings indicate that excessive screen media consumption can harm children's language and cognitive development. Overexposure can disrupt social interactions, hinder vocabulary and grammar development, and negatively impact focus and concentration abilities. However, other studies highlight the benefits of moderate and guided screen media usage for children's development. High-quality educational content can aid in learning new languages, grasping new concepts, and enhancing cognitive skills. Therefore, parents must regulate and monitor their children's screen media usage. They should ensure that children engage with screen media within reasonable time limits, consume age-appropriate and educational content, and maintain adequate social interactions.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br>Di era yang berkembang pesat seperti sekarang ini, penggunaan media sosial sudah menjadi hal yang lumrah. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak, karena bahkan anak usia dini pun sudah mulai menggunakan gadget dan terlibat dengan berbagai media. Terlebih di masa tersebut, anak sedang di berada di fase golden age, yang sudah dapat menangkap stimulus utk perkembangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan screen media dalam perkembangan bahasa dan kognitif pada masa early childhood. Pendekatan yang diambil adalah melalui telaah literatur yang mencakup jurnal-jurnal terpercaya dalam bidang tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemakaian media layar secara berlebihan dapat merugikan perkembangan bahasa dan kognisi anak. Pemaparan yang terlalu lama dapat mengganggu interaksi sosial, menghambat perkembangan kosakata dan tata bahasa, serta mempengaruhi kemampuan fokus dan konsentrasi. Namun, ada juga penelitian yang menyoroti manfaat penggunaan media layar secara moderat dan terarah bagi perkembangan anak. Konten edukatif yang berkualitas dapat membantu mereka dalam mempelajari bahasa baru, memahami konsep-konsep baru, dan meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif. Karenanya, penting bagi orang tua untuk mengatur dan mengawasi penggunaan media layar oleh anak-anak mereka. This parenting pattern can affect one of the child's attitudes, namely aggressive behavior. Aggressive behavior includes physical aggression, verbal aggression, angry aggression, and hostility. This study aims to examine authoritarian parenting, which based on many previous studies, is one of the factors that trigger aggressive behavior in adolescents. The method used is through qualitative methods including observation of subjects with authoritarian parenting patterns and interviews. In this study, two samples consisting of subjects and informants were used as supporting data... The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The interviews were semi-structured and conducted by means of a series of closed themes and some prepared questions; from the results of this study, it was found that authoritarian parenting encourages aggressive attitudes in adolescents. This is concluded from the subject's parenting pattern which meets the criteria of authoritarian parenting, as well as the subject's tendency to commit aggressive acts as a consequence of the parenting pattern.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br />Orang tua berperan besar dalam memberikan pola pengasuhan pada anak. Pola pengasuhan ini dapat berpengaruh ke salah satu sikap anak, yaitu perilaku agresif. Perilaku agresif yang dimaksud meliputi agresi fisik, agresi verbal, agresi marah, dan sikap permusuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola asuh otoriter, yang berdasarkan banyak penelitian sebelumnya, menjadi salah satu faktor pemicu perilaku agresif pada remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui metode kualitatif meliputi observasi terhadap partisipan dengan pola pengasuhan otoriter dan wawancara. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan dua sampel yang terdiri atas partisipan dan informan sebagai data pendukung.. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Wawancara dilakukan secara semi-struktur, dilakukan dengan cara serangkaian tema tertutup dan beberapa pertanyaan yang telah disiapkan, Dari hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa pola asuh otoriter mendorong sikap agresif pada remaja. Because self-concept can determine what kind of behavior will be shown by a person. A positive self-concept will make individuals avoid negative behavior, while a negative self-concept can make individuals take deviant actions. One of the factors that affects self-concept is bullying. This is worth discussing because bullying is one of the cases that are often found in school environments. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of bullying on student self-concept. This research uses a literature review method with descriptive analysis. The results of this study found that bullying has an impact on student self-concept. The impacts that arise are low self-esteem, having negative self-evaluation, hating oneself, having no self-respect, stress, and a tendency to withdraw from the social environment. The suggestion from this research is that it is necessary to further examine the impact of bullying on the self-concept of female and male students.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br />Konsep diri menjadi hal yang terpenting bagi seorang pelajar. Sebab konsep diri dapat menentukan perilaku seperti apa yang akan diperlihatkan oleh seseorang. Konsep diri yang positif akan membuat individu terhindar dari perilaku negatif, sedangkan konsep diri negatif dapat membuat individu melakukan tindakan menyimpang. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep diri adalah bullying. Hal ini patut menjadi pembahasan dikarenakan bullying merupakan salah satu kasus yang sering dijumpai di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dampak bullying terhadap konsep diri pelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwasannya bullying membawa dampak kepada konsep diri pelajar. Dampak yang timbul adalah harga diri yang rendah, memiliki evaluasi diri yang negatif, membenci diri sendiri, tidak memiliki rasa hormat kepada dirinya sendiri, stress, dan kecenderungan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial. Depression is an emotional disorder characterized by an individual's reduced interest in something. One of the causes of depression is related to social media. This research aims to examine the role of social media use in students who have experienced depression. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods. The selection of research participants was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The criteria for participants were 1) students at the State University of Malang, 2) who had a history of depression, and 3) who were willing to be interviewed based on the criteria obtained by two research subjects. The data analysis technique used is thematic data analysis. Thematic analysis is one way to analyze data to identify patterns or find themes through data that has been collected by researchers. The interview process was carried out with participant 1 and participant 2 on Wednesday, November 22 2023.
