Abstract

Abstract: Domestic Violence (KDRT) is the behavior of hurting and injuring physically and psychologically or emotionally which can result in unwanted pain and distress by the injured party within the scope of the family, namely the relationship between husband and wife, children, people living in the same house, as well as to other family members. The purpose of this study is to determine the dynamics of child development in terms of the impact of Domestic Violence (KDRT), especially on children's cognitive, language and socio-emotional development. The research method uses a systematic literature review based on research for the last 10 years (2013-2023). The results of the study found that the domestic violence by parents had a negative impact on all aspects of the dynamics of children's development, both from cognitive, socio-emotional and language development. It can be concluded that domestic violence has a serious influence on the dynamics of child development. Intervention measures such as cognitive behavioral therapy for the recovery of traumatic experiences can be carried out in collaboration between the child and his caregiver. In addition, parents can take preventive actions as an effort to prevent domestic violence in their children's environment by applying positive parenting patterns.
