Abstract

Vectors and calculus are fundamental topics in physics learning. These two topics often accompany other topics in physics, so that students who master these two topics will find it easier to learn physics. This article aims to analyze the need for recitation development that can provide quick feedback in the form of writing or video on vector material. This research is descriptive exploratory. While the analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The research subjects were students of the Malang State University physics education study program batch 2020. A total of 17 students as the research sample were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were obtained using student questionnaires and interviews. The results of the interview show that although vector material has been discussed specifically, students' understanding is still lacking, besides that, lecturers also use media in the form of one-way power point slides. The results of the questionnaire analysis show that students need interactive learning media that can facilitate independent learning and can be used anytime and anywhere in a simple and easy-to-operate form. The media is in the form of a recitation that is integrated with an interactive powerpoint.


Vektor dan kalkulus merupakan topik fundamental dalam pembelajaran fisika. Kedua topik tersebut kerap menyertai topik bahasan lain dalam fisika, sehingga peserta didik yang menguasai kedua topik ini akan lebih mudah dalam belajar fisika. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan resitasi yang dapat memberikan feedback dengan cepat baik berupa tulisan maupun video pada materi vektor. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif eksploratif. Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Negeri Malang angkatan 2020. Sebanyak 17 mahasiswa sebagai sampel penelitian dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket mahasiswa dan wawancara. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa meski materi vektor pernah dibahas secara khusus, pemahaman peserta didik masih kurang, selain itu dosen juga menggunakan media berupa slide power point yang sifatnya satu arah. Hasil analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat memfasilitasi belajar secara mandiri dan dapat digunakan kapan dan dimana saja dalam bentuk yang sederhana serta mudah dioperasikan. Media tersebut berupa resitasi yang terintegrasi dengan power point interaktif.
