Jurnal Integrasi dan Harmoni Inovatif Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial literally means “Journal of Integration and Innovative Harmony in the Social Sciences.” The use of the Indonesian language in the title reflects the journal’s strong contextual grounding in Indonesian society while also emphasizing its broader commitment to understanding social phenomena across diverse cultural, geographical, institutional, and global settings. The title represents three interconnected ideas: integration as an interdisciplinary approach that brings together perspectives from different branches of the social sciences and humanities, harmony as an orientation toward understanding social relationships, diversity, and sustainable coexistence, and innovation as the development of new perspectives, methods, and solutions for addressing contemporary social challenges. Although rooted in the Indonesian social and cultural context, the journal has a multidisciplinary and internationally relevant scope, welcoming empirical, theoretical, and practice-oriented studies in sociology, geography, history, economics, anthropology, political science, law, citizenship, culture, religion, communication, and related areas of the humanities and social sciences. The journal also accommodates educational perspectives within these disciplines, including Citizenship Education, Geography Education, Sociology Education, Economic Education, History Education, Anthropology Education, Religious Education, Social Studies, and other interdisciplinary studies that contribute to a deeper understanding of society and its continuing transformation.
Jurnal Integrasi dan Harmoni Inovatif Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial (JIHI3S) is nationally accredited and ranked SINTA 4, based on the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026. The accreditation is valid from Volume 1, Number 7 (2021) through Volume 6, Number 6 (2026).
